Jewelry Store Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect Apprehended in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tennessee — A suspect wanted for an attempted armed robbery at a jewelry store in Lebanon, Tennessee, has been captured in Memphis after a multi-agency effort, according to the Lebanon Police Department.

The attempted heist occurred at a local jewelry boutique where the suspect allegedly brandished a weapon and demanded merchandise before fleeing the scene. Following a coordinates exchange between regional law enforcement agencies, the suspect was located and arrested without incident in Memphis, located approximately 250 miles west of Lebanon.

Lebanon police expressed gratitude to the Memphis Police Department for their swift coordination and assistance in taking the suspect into custody. The suspect is currently held in Memphis pending extradition back to Wilson County to face charges including attempted armed robbery and weapon possession during the commission of a felony.
