According to an article published on 2 August 2025 by Bristolpost, police are searching for a man following a robbery at a shop on Church Road in Redfield, Bristol. The incident occurred on Thursday, 26 June, shortly before 7am.

Bristolpost reports that a man entered the store and stole alcohol and cigarettes. During the event, a knife fell from the suspect's pocket before he fled the scene on foot in the direction of Avondale Road. Avon and Somerset Police conducted a search of the area but did not locate the individual.

The suspect is described as a black man in his twenties, wearing a dark-coloured jacket with the hood up, cream-coloured shorts, and black trainers. Police have released CCTV footage and are urging anyone with information to contact them by calling 101, referencing number 5225178310, or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.

Business owners are encouraged to review their security protocols and ensure that staff are trained in safety procedures for handling aggressive encounters.
