LAPD Investigates Brutal Home Invasion by Group of Up to Seven Masked Burglars in Woodland Hills

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department are actively investigating a chilling home invasion that occurred in the affluent neighborhood of Woodland Hills, where a homeowner was confronted by a large group of masked and armed intruders.

Midnight Break-in Terrifies Woodland Hills Residents

The incident unfolded in the late hours when as many as seven individuals, all wearing dark clothing and masks, forced entry into a residential property. Once inside, the suspects confronted the occupants, demanding access to safes, cash, and high-value personal belongings. The scale of the intrusion—involving up to seven suspects—has raised significant alarm among local residents and law enforcement officials.

Neighbors reported hearing shouting and seeing several dark-colored SUVs speeding away from the scene shortly before police units arrived. Officers established a perimeter in the surrounding area and deployed air units to search for the suspects, but no immediate arrests were made.

LAPD's robbery-homicide division is leading the investigation, analyzing home security camera footage from the victim's house as well as neighboring properties.
