Las Vegas Police Officer Arrested After Allegedly Breaking Into Man's Home Over Suspected Affair

LAS VEGAS, NV — A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer has been arrested and suspended following an off-duty incident where he allegedly broke into another man's residence.

According to police documents and arrest reports, the officer unlawfully entered the home after suspecting that his wife was inside conducting an extramarital affair with the homeowner. The homeowner immediately contacted emergency dispatchers to report an active intruder who had forced entry into the property.

Internal Investigation and Charges

Upon arrival, responding officers identified the suspect as one of their own off-duty personnel. The officer was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with residential burglary and home invasion.
