Local Resident Charged in Connection with Beer Distributor Break-In

CHEYENNE, WY — A local resident is facing multiple felony charges after being arrested during a burglary in progress at a beer distribution facility in Cheyenne.

Officers were dispatched to the warehouse complex early Tuesday morning after receiving an automated burglar alarm indicating motion inside the secure building. Upon arriving at the scene, responding officers observed a breached security door and immediately established a perimeter around the warehouse.

According to CPD officials, officers entering the facility located the suspect attempting to conceal himself among stacks of inventory. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. A search of his person and immediate area revealed burglar tools, including bolt cutters, and several cases of products ready to be transported out of the building.

The suspect has been booked into the Laramie County Detention Center. He faces charges of commercial burglary, possession of burglary tools, and criminal trespass. The investigation remains active as authorities determine if additional targets were hit.
