Los Angeles Tour Company Targeted Twice in Under a Month for High-Value E-Bikes

A popular local tour company located on La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles has been hit by a double wave of burglaries in less than a month, with thieves specifically targeting high-value electric bicycles.

The first incident occurred earlier in the month, prompting the business to upgrade security measures. However, the improvements did not deter the perpetrators, who returned for a second time on April 21, 2025. In both break-ins, the suspects focused on stealing the company's premium electric bike fleet, which serves as the core asset of their guided city tour operations.

The repeated burglaries have dealt a severe blow to the tour company, causing significant financial losses and disrupting their seasonal tour schedule. Investigators are analyzing security camera footage from La Cienega Boulevard and investigating whether a specialized bicycle theft ring is behind the targeting of local rental and tour businesses.
