Machinery Worth £1.3 Million Stolen from Wolverhampton Recycling Plant
An investigation is underway after a significant theft of heavy machinery valued at approximately £1.3 million from a recycling plant in Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
The incident, which took place at a local recycling facility, involved the theft of highly specialized industrial equipment. Given the size and value of the machinery, police believe the theft was a pre-planned and sophisticated operation, likely requiring heavy transport vehicles to remove the items from the site.
Detectives are reviewing CCTV footage from the plant and surrounding roads, and are appealing for any witnesses or commercial drivers who may have noticed suspicious heavy transport activity in the area during the night to come forward. Security at nearby industrial estates has also been alerted as a precaution.
West Midlands Police have asked anyone with information, dashcam footage, or details of suspicious equipment sales to contact them on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
