Madison Police Apprehend Three Suspects Following Vehicle Burglary Spree

MADISON, Miss. — The Madison Police Department has announced the arrest of three suspects in connection with a widespread vehicle burglary spree that targeted multiple neighborhoods in the city. The arrests follow a coordinated effort by patrol officers and detectives responding to overnight break-ins.

According to police reports, the incident began during the early morning hours when residents in several subdivisions noticed suspicious individuals walking up driveways and checking car door handles. Homeowners quickly alerted authorities, and responding officers utilized description details and home security video feeds to identify a suspect vehicle leaving one of the targeted residential streets.

Officers intercepted the vehicle nearby and initiated a traffic stop. During the investigation, officers discovered a large amount of suspected stolen property inside the car, including laptops, wallets, cell phones, and loose change. The three occupants were arrested on the spot and are now facing multiple counts of auto burglary and possession of stolen property.
