Authorities in Delray Beach have successfully dismantled a criminal mail theft ring following an investigation titled Operation Checkmate. The operation targeted individuals involved in the systematic theft of mail within the area.

According to reports from CBS12, the criminal activity resulted in the theft of more than $1 million. Law enforcement officials confirmed the ring has been busted as a result of the coordinated operation.
