Man Admits Newton Mearns Break-In Where Cord Was Placed Around Homeowner's Neck

A man has admitted to a terrifying break-in and assault at a home in Newton Mearns, during which he placed a cord around a woman's neck. Christopher Crossan appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court and pleaded guilty to charges of housebreaking, assault, and theft connected to the incident on March 21 at a property on Fairweather Place.
