Man Arrested Following Armed Robbery at Middlesbrough Petrol Station as Manhunt Continues

A major police operation is underway in Middlesbrough after an armed robbery targeted a local Shell petrol station. While one suspect has been successfully arrested, officers are continuing their search for other individuals connected to the crime.

The incident occurred late in the evening when armed individuals entered the Shell service station, threatening staff and demanding cash from the registers. Cleveland Police officers responded swiftly to the emergency, arriving at the scene to intercept and arrest one male suspect. The workers, although deeply shaken by the ordeal, did not suffer serious physical injuries during the robbery.

Urgent 999 Appeal Issued

Following investigations, detectives have identified other suspects believed to be directly involved in the planning and execution of the robbery. The police have released descriptions and urged the public to immediately call 999 if they spot these men, warning the public not to approach them directly.
