According to an article published by Readingchronicle on 13 March 2025, a 34-year-old man from Wokingham has been arrested on suspicion of burglary. The arrest follows an incident in Winnersh that occurred between 8pm and 8.20pm on Saturday, March 8.

Thames Valley Police report that the rear patio door of a property located near Robin Hood Lane and Danywern Drive was smashed during the break-in. Jewellery and other valuable items were stolen from the home before the suspect fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

Detective Constable Stephen Major is appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward. Information can be provided to the police by calling 101 or submitting an online report, quoting reference number 43250114944.
