Man Charged with Robbery and Arson Following South Nashville Retail Store Attack

NASHVILLE, Tennessee โ€” Authorities have charged a man with multiple felonies, including robbery and arson, following a violent attack and robbery at a retail store in South Nashville.

According to police and fire investigators, the suspect entered the business and initiated a robbery, demanding cash and taking merchandise. During the commission of the robbery, the suspect intentionally set fire to the structure, causing severe damage to the retail store before fleeing the scene.

Firefighters responded to extinguish the blaze while police searched the surrounding area. The suspect was successfully located and arrested by Metro Nashville Police shortly after the incident. He faces charges of aggravated robbery, arson of a commercial structure, and reckless endangerment.
