Man Charged with Robbing Ashford Stores with Imitation Firearm on Boxing Day

Detectives from Kent Police have charged a man in connection with a series of robberies at retail stores in Ashford on Boxing Day. The suspect allegedly entered multiple commercial premises, brandishing what appeared to be a firearm, and demanding cash and valuables from employees.

The incidents, which caused significant distress to retail workers operating during the festive period, prompted an immediate response from local policing units. Following swift enquiries, officers arrested a suspect and recovered an imitation firearm. No physical injuries were reported during the incidents, though staff members were left shaken by the ordeal.
