Man Shot, Robbed of $22,000 Gold Chain Inside Supreme Store in Miami's Design District; Three Arrested
MIAMI, Florida — A shopping trip in Miami’s upscale Design District took a violent turn when a man was shot and robbed of a luxury gold chain valued at $22,000 inside the Supreme clothing store, prompting a swift police response that resulted in three arrests.
The incident occurred on January 5, 2026. According to the Miami Police Department, a confrontation arose inside the store when suspects targeted the victim's valuable jewelry. During the struggle, a firearm was discharged, striking the victim. The suspects successfully snatched the $22,000 gold chain before fleeing the high-end retail area.
Miami officers quickly flooded the area and managed to track down and arrest three suspects believed to be involved in the robbery. Investigators identified the arrested individuals as residents of Atlanta, Georgia, who had traveled to Miami. Despite the arrests, police confirmed that the individual who fired the weapon remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.
The shooting victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment; their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. Detectives are continuing to search for the shooter and are asking anyone with mobile phone footage or information about the incident to contact the Miami Police Department.
