Mar Vista Home of WNBA Star Sabrina Ionescu and NFL's Hroniss Grasu Burglarized

MAR VISTA, CA — The Mar Vista residence of WNBA champion Sabrina Ionescu and her husband, former NFL offensive lineman Hroniss Grasu, was burglarized in mid-December. The suspects reportedly made off with valuable personal property, including multiple high-end designer handbags.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the break-in occurred while the couple was away. Intruders forced entry into the luxury home and ransacked several rooms. Security footage from the neighborhood is being reviewed by investigators, who believe the home may have been targeted by an organized retail and residential burglary crew active in the Westside of Los Angeles.

Sabrina Ionescu, who recently led the New York Liberty to a WNBA championship, and Grasu, who played for several NFL franchises, have resided in the area during the off-season. Security has been heightened around the residence following the incident, and police are urging anyone with information to contact the LAPD's Pacific Division.
