Masked Thieves in Audi Rob Santander Branch in Stourbridge

STOURBRIDGE — Police are hunting a group of masked individuals who targeted the Santander branch in Stourbridge, escaping with an undisclosed sum of money before fleeing in a high-powered Audi vehicle.

The incident, which took place in the heart of Stourbridge around June 25, 2025, sparked a significant police response. Eyewitnesses reported seeing masked figures running from the bank branch and piling into a waiting Audi, which then sped away from the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among staff or customers inside the branch at the time of the robbery, though those present were left deeply shocked by the brazen nature of the crime.

Officers quickly cordoned off the area to allow forensic teams to examine the scene. Detectives are now reviewing CCTV footage from the bank and surrounding businesses, as well as tracking the movements of the getaway Audi through local traffic cameras.

West Midlands Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the vehicle or any suspicious activity near the bank prior to the robbery.
