Midnight Intruders Nabbed by Police at Folkestone Construction Site

A pair of opportunistic thieves have been arrested in the dead of night after attempting to steal tools and equipment from a busy construction site in Folkestone. The swift response of Kent Police prevents significant loss to the building firm and highlights local efforts to curb industrial site burglaries.

Officers patrolling the Folkestone area noticed suspicious activity around the perimeter fence of the site in the early hours of the morning. Upon investigating, they observed individuals inside the secure area attempting to load building materials and expensive plant tools into a waiting vehicle.

Backup units were immediately dispatched to secure the perimeter exits, catching the suspects red-handed as they attempted to flee. The recovered property has since been returned to the site managers, and the two suspects have been taken to a local police station for formal questioning.
