Multiple Downtown Fargo Businesses Target of Early Morning Burglaries

FARGO, N.D. — Business owners near downtown Fargo are on high alert following a series of break-ins that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning, leaving properties damaged and merchandise stolen.

According to the Fargo Police Department, officers responded to reports of commercial burglaries at multiple locations near the downtown perimeter. The incidents, which appear to have occurred in close proximity and within a short timeframe, involved suspects forced entering the premises to steal cash registers, electronics, and other valuable inventory.

Local proprietors expressed frustration over the incidents, noting the financial burden of repairing broken doors and windows on top of the losses from stolen goods. "It is disheartening to come into work and find your livelihood disrupted by senseless property crime," said one downtown worker who wished to remain anonymous.

Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the affected businesses and surrounding streets to identify the perpetrators. The Fargo Police Department is urging anyone with information, or anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area early Monday morning, to contact their tip line immediately.
