NOPD Searching for Decatur Street Business Burglary Suspect

NEW ORLEANS, LA — The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) has released surveillance images and is requesting the community's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a commercial burglary on Decatur Street. The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

According to police reports, the suspect entered the business premises illicitly and stole property before fleeing. Surveillance cameras inside the business captured clear images of the individual during the commission of the crime. The NOPD is hoping that members of the public will recognize the suspect's clothing, physical build, or facial features.

Decatur Street, located in the historic French Quarter, is a high-traffic commercial corridor, and police are urging business owners and residents in the vicinity to review their own security footage for any suspicious activity from that morning.
