North Versailles Vape Shop Owner Speaks Out Following Brazen Teen Robbery

NORTH VERSAILLES, PA — A local business owner is speaking out and calling for action after a group of teenagers targeted his store in a brazen daytime robbery. Taylor Sullivan, the owner of Endless Vapor and CBD, located off Route 30 in North Versailles, shared details of the incident to raise awareness about rising youth crime in the area.

The incident occurred on a Tuesday afternoon in early May 2024. According to Sullivan, he first became suspicious when a teenager entered the shop wearing a full face mask, despite temperatures reaching 80 degrees. The first individual appeared to act as a decoy, drawing Sullivan to the far side of the counter to ask questions and distract him.

Moments later, three other teenagers rushed into the store, bypassing the counter and grabbing products directly off the shelves. When Sullivan shouted at the group to stop, they fled the scene. The group successfully stole between 15 to 20 vapes, with an estimated total retail value of $450.

Local law enforcement authorities believe the suspects are teenagers around 15 or 16 years old. Police also noted that the same group of youth is suspected in an unprovoked assault on a man down the street just days prior to the vape shop theft. Sullivan expressed concern for the safety of other local merchants, stating he hopes the juveniles are identified before their actions escalate and someone gets seriously hurt.
