Northamptonshire Police release CCTV following attempted residential burglary in Northampton

NORTHAMPTON, United Kingdom — An investigation has been launched by Northamptonshire Police following an attempted burglary at a residential property in Northampton. To aid their inquiries, detectives have released a CCTV image of a person they wish to identify and speak to regarding the incident.

The attempted break-in occurred at a home when an unidentified individual tried to force entry into the property. Fortunately, the suspect was unsuccessful in breaching the home's security, and no items were reported stolen. However, the attempt has caused significant distress to the occupants, highlighting the ongoing threat of residential crime in local neighborhoods.

Officers are examining surveillance footage from the area and are keen to speak with the individual shown in the released image, as they believe he may have been in the vicinity at the time and could assist with the case.
