Oregon Man Arrested in Boise After Multi-Crime Spree Involving Robbery and Grand Theft Auto

BOISE, Idaho — Boise Police officers arrested an Oregon man following an alleged multi-stage crime spree spanning robbery, auto theft, and evasion of law enforcement. The suspect was apprehended after a coordinated response by local patrol units.

Authorities reported that the spree began when the suspect allegedly stole a vehicle in a neighboring area and drove to Boise. Once in the city, the individual committed an armed robbery at a local establishment, fleeing the scene in the stolen vehicle. Officers spotted the suspect vehicle shortly thereafter and initiated a stop, but the suspect attempted to evade arrest, leading to a brief pursuit.

The pursuit ended when officers successfully pinned the vehicle, and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. He has been booked into the Ada County Jail on several felony charges, including grand theft auto, robbery, and fleeing or eluding police officers.
