Overnight Burglary Spree Targets Six Chicago Businesses

Six businesses in Chicago's Lakeview, Roscoe Village, Andersonville, and Lincoln Square neighborhoods were targeted in a series of smash-and-grab burglaries early Tuesday morning. The incidents occurred between 12:30 AM and 3:30 AM, with the burglars using hammers and other tools to smash windows and gain entry. The thieves stole cash and merchandise, with the total value of the stolen items estimated to be in the tens of thousands of dollars. No arrests have been made, and the suspects remain at large.

Police are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects. Surveillance footage shows the suspects wearing dark clothing and gloves, making it difficult to identify them.
