Oxford business burglarized, police seek information on suspect

Police are appealing for public assistance following a commercial burglary at an Oxford business. Investigators have released description details of a suspect caught on security cameras during the break-in.

The incident occurred during the night when the business was closed. The suspect gained access by breaching a rear window, subsequently searching the offices and retail area. A quantity of electronic equipment and cash was reported stolen from the premises.

Security footage shows a lone individual moving through the property, wearing a hooded jacket and carrying a backpack. Police are analyzing the video and conducting forensic tests at the entry point in an attempt to identify the perpetrator.

"Commercial burglaries have a significant financial and emotional impact on local business owners," said the investigating officer. "We are asking anyone who was in the vicinity during the night and noticed anything unusual, or who might recognize the description of the suspect, to contact us."
