Palm Springs Duo Arrested for Stealing $150K in Insulin Pens from West Palm Beach Pharmacy

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Two suspects from the neighboring village of Palm Springs are facing heavy felony charges after police linked them to the theft of $150,000 worth of pharmaceutical supplies from a local pharmacy. The heist targeted high-value insulin pens, a critical medication for diabetic patients.

According to the West Palm Beach Police Department, the burglary occurred at a commercial pharmacy location in the city. The suspects managed to gain access to the pharmacy's storage units, focusing specifically on refrigerated pharmaceuticals. A total of $150,000 in insulin pens was reported stolen. Because insulin requires strict temperature controls to remain effective, authorities raised immediate concerns about the safety and distribution of the stolen medication.

Following an investigation using surveillance images and local license plate readers, detectives identified and arrested the duo, who reside in Palm Springs, Florida. Both suspects have been charged with grand theft and burglary of a commercial structure.
