Parolee Dominic Chuisano Arrested for Multi-Home Burglaries in El Cajon
EL CAJON, CA — A 42-year-old transient man who was out on parole for a prior burglary conviction has been arrested once again after allegedly breaking into two homes on a residential street. Dominic Chuisano was taken into custody on September 11, 2025, following a resident's quick call to law enforcement.
Intruder Discovered by Homeowner
The incident unfolded on the morning of September 11, when El Cajon Police Department officers received reports of a suspicious intruder in the 1900 block of Fernbrook Court. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Chuisano engaged in a conversation with a resident outside one of the properties.
A subsequent investigation revealed that Chuisano had not only entered that residence but had also broken into a neighboring home on the same street. Officers conducting a sweep of the properties discovered burglary tools that had been deliberately staged near the entry points, suggesting the suspect was preparing to remove valuables from the residences.
Parole Violation and New Charges
Chuisano, who was identified as a transient living in the El Cajon area, was confirmed to be on active parole for a previous burglary conviction. Due to the circumstances of the break-ins, Chuisano was booked into jail on charges of residential burglary, possession of burglary tools, and a parole violation hold. He is currently being held without bail at the San Diego County jail facility.
