Pedestrian Shot and Robbed at North Memphis Gas Station

MEMPHIS, TN — An investigation is actively proceeding in North Memphis after a victim was shot and robbed at a local gas station. The violent encounter has sparked renewed concerns regarding safety at retail and fueling locations during late-night hours.

According to the Memphis Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call at the service station. Upon arrival, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators determined that the suspect confronted the victim, demanding his belongings, before discharging a firearm and fleeing the scene with the stolen items.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. MPD is currently searching for the gunman and has asked anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting or who has dashcam footage to contact detectives immediately.
