Break-in at East Craigs Pharmacy

According to an article published by Dailyrecord on 6 October 2025, a pharmacy in Edinburgh was targeted in an overnight burglary. The incident occurred at East Craigs Pharmacy on Bughtlin Market shortly after midnight on Saturday, 4 October 2025.

Dailyrecord reports that a large quantity of Mounjaro, a prescription medication used for weight management, was stolen during the raid. Police Scotland confirmed they received a report of the break-in and theft on Sunday, 5 October, and have launched an investigation into the matter. The pharmacy manager has stated that they are working closely with law enforcement and is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage and are appealing to the public for any information, including dashcam or doorbell recordings from the area between 23:30 and 00:30 on the night of the incident. Members of the public are advised not to purchase or use this medication if offered, as it is prescription-only and requires specific storage conditions.
