Police appeal after £100k electronics heist on Wilmslow Road in Cheadle

Detectives in Stockport have launched a public appeal for information following a high-value commercial burglary at a business premises located on Wilmslow Road in Cheadle.

The incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, May 3, 2026, at approximately 11:15 pm. According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP), three unidentified men managed to sneak into the commercial premises and targeted valuable electrical stock. The total value of the stolen items is estimated to be around £100,000.

Police Appeal and Investigation

Following the break-in, the trio fled the scene in an unknown direction. Officers have been carrying out enquiries, but are now turning to the public for assistance. Anyone who may have been driving along Wilmslow Road at around 11:15 pm with dashcam footage, or residents with CCTV/Ring doorbell cameras, is urged to check their recordings.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police stated: "An investigation is ongoing into the incident, and officers are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time or has any information to come forward."
