Police Appeal After Aggravated Burglary in East Croydon Home

Detectives in Croydon are appealing for public assistance and witness information following an aggravated burglary at a residential property in East Croydon. The incident occurred during the evening hours when a group of suspects forced their way into the house.

Occupants Confronted and Valuables Stolen

Once inside, the suspects confronted the residents and demanded valuables. Although the occupants were shaken by the ordeal, fortunately no physical injuries were reported. The burglars made off with a selection of high-value electronic items, personal laptops, and several pieces of family jewelry. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.

Active Police Investigation

Officers have carried out initial door-to-door inquiries and are reviewing available doorbell camera footage from the neighborhood. Police are asking anyone who saw suspicious individuals or a vehicle parked nearby with its engine running between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM to get in touch. Community officers have increased patrols in the area to provide reassurance to local residents.
