Police Appeal After Burglars Steal Cash from Tesco Petrol Station in Camborne

Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and footage after a break-in at the Tesco petrol station in Camborne. The incident occurred during the early hours of Wednesday, May 14, 2025, resulting in the theft of cash.

Break-in Details

According to police reports, the burglary occurred at approximately 2:05 a.m. at the petrol station site located near Wesley Street. The offenders broke the main entrance by smashing a glass door to gain entry to the commercial premises. Once inside, they targeted the till area and stole a quantity of cash before escaping the scene.

Police Appeal for Footage

Detectives investigating the incident have asked local residents and business owners near Wesley Street to review any private CCTV, dashcam, or video doorbell footage captured around the time of the break-in. Specifically, police are interested in any suspicious vehicles or individuals seen moving in the vicinity between 1:45 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.
