Police Appeal After Burglary at Salford's Vimto Gardens Apartment Block

Detectives in Salford have launched a public appeal for information following a burglary at a modern apartment complex last autumn.

The incident occurred in November 2025 at the high-profile Vimto Gardens residential development situated on Chapel Street, Salford. According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP), an intruder managed to gain entry to the complex, prompting an investigation by local officers.

In a bid to progress their enquiries, GMP's Salford Neighborhood Crime Team (NCT) has released three CCTV images of a man they believe may hold vital information regarding the break-in. Officers are urging the public to study the images and assist in identifying the individual.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police stated: "#APPEAL | Salford NCT are appealing for information in relation to a burglary from Vimto Gardens, November 2025 and believe this male may be able to assist our enquiries."

Members of the public who recognize the man in the CCTV footage, or who were in the Chapel Street area at the time and witnessed suspicious activity, are asked to contact GMP on 0161 856 5272 or via email at [email protected].
