Police Appeal After High-Value Jewellery Theft in Stroud

Gloucestershire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following the theft of high-value jewellery from a property in Stroud. The theft, which was reported on May 21, 2026, has prompted an investigation by local detectives who are eager to trace the stolen items and identify the suspects.

Officers state that the incident occurred during the daytime hours. The stolen items include several pieces of sentimental and financial value, including gold rings, necklaces, and heirloom jewelry. The loss has devastated the owners, who have offered a plea for their safe return.

Detectives are currently conducting house-to-house inquiries and checking for any private CCTV or doorbell footage in the area that may have captured individuals acting suspiciously. They are also advising local pawnbrokers and second-hand jewelers to be on alert for anyone attempting to sell items matching the descriptions of the stolen goods.
