Police Arrest Multiple Suspects Following Heists and Armed Robbery at Nashville Vape Retailers

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Metro Nashville Police Department investigators have made significant progress in curbing retail thefts targeting local vape shops, announcing multiple arrests linked to both armed robberies and smash-and-grab burglaries across the city.

In one major development, police arrested and accused a teenager in connection with a violent armed robbery at a local vape retailer. During the incident, the suspect and accomplice(s) allegedly threatened staff before fleeing with store merchandise and a large sum of cash from the register.

Separately, authorities responded to a destructive smash-and-grab heist at another local vape establishment. In that incident, perpetrators shattered the storefront glass to gain entry during the overnight hours, making off with valuable inventory. Following a swift investigation, Metro police arrested two individuals in connection with the burglary, successfully recovering a significant portion of the stolen goods.
