Police appeal for information on warehouse burglaries

According to the Yorkshireeveningpost, West Yorkshire Police have launched a public appeal for information following a series of high-value warehouse burglaries. The incidents occurred in the Leeds and Kirklees areas between 30 December 2024 and 8 January 2025.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to identify, as he may possess information relevant to the ongoing investigation. The image was reportedly captured in Pontefract. Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the individual or has details regarding these crimes to come forward.

Information can be provided to the police via their online live chat service or by calling 101, quoting reference number 13250002522. Alternatively, reports can be made anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

Business owners are encouraged to regularly review and upgrade their warehouse security systems, including alarms and high-definition surveillance cameras, to deter unauthorized access.
