Police Hunt Suspects After Roof Tiles Removed in Attempted Shop Raid in Inverness

Police Scotland have launched a search for would-be thieves who attempted to raid a Premier Stores shop in Inverness. The suspects tried to gain entry to the commercial premises through the roof, removing several tiles in the process before fleeing empty-handed.

The attempted break-in was discovered after damage to the building's roof structure was noticed. It appears the perpetrators were disrupted or abandoned their plans before they could successfully infiltrate the interior of the convenience store. No items are believed to have been taken, but the structural damage has caused disruption to the business owners.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously on or near the roof of the Premier Stores building in Inverness. Local residents with private CCTV or dashcam footage from the night in question are also being urged to review their recordings and contact Police Scotland with any relevant information.
