Police hunt suspects in dark clothing after break-in at Livingston Dobbies Garden Centre

Police Scotland have launched an investigation following a break-in at the Dobbies Garden Centre in Livingston. The incident, which took place in the early hours of Thursday, 27th June 2024, has prompted local detectives to appeal for witnesses.

According to officers, two individuals dressed in dark clothing were spotted in the vicinity of the garden centre at the time of the intrusion. It is understood that forced entry was gained to the premises, causing damage to the entrance, although details regarding what was stolen have not yet been fully disclosed by authorities.

Investigating officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the business and surrounding areas to trace the movements of the suspects. Police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or who might have dashcam footage from the nearby roads during the night, to come forward.

Dobbies Garden Centre, located just off the main road in Livingston, is a popular regional destination. Authorities are hoping that members of the public might have noticed suspicious activity or vehicles parked nearby.
