Police Investigate $5,500 High-Value Theft from Lululemon Store in Chicago's Old Town

CHICAGO — Authorities are investigating a high-value retail theft that occurred at the Lululemon store in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood, resulting in the loss of approximately $5,500 worth of athletic apparel.

According to police sources, the incident took place during regular business hours when a group of individuals entered the store. The suspects quickly gathered large quantities of high-end merchandise from the display racks and exited the store without paying, bypassing security sensors.

Store employees reported the incident to law enforcement immediately after the suspects fled. The police are reviewing in-store surveillance footage as well as street cameras to track the suspects' path of escape. No weapons were displayed, and no injuries were reported during the shoplifting incident.
