Police Investigate Attempted ATM Theft, Property Damage on Lebanon Pike

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — The Metro Nashville Police Department is currently investigating an early morning attempted commercial burglary and theft of an automated teller machine (ATM) on Lebanon Pike.

According to officers, the suspects arrived at the scene and utilized tools or a vehicle in an aggressive effort to pry open the ATM terminal. Despite inflicting severe structural damage to the machine, the security features of the vault held, and the perpetrators were unable to access or retrieve any cash.

The suspects fled the area before officers arrived at the scene. Crime scene investigators have collected evidence, including surveillance footage from nearby businesses, to help identify the individuals responsible.
