Police Investigate Series of Jewelry Thefts at Oklahoma City Shopping Malls

The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating multiple high-value jewelry thefts at retail locations across the metro area. Authorities are seeking information on suspects involved in two separate incidents: a theft at a Northwest Oklahoma City mall in December 2024 and a more recent robbery at an outlet mall in late October 2025.

In the first incident, which occurred in December 2024, a suspect walked into a jewelry store at a Northwest OKC mall and stole a necklace valued at approximately $4,500. Security footage showed the suspect examining the jewelry before fleeing the store. In the second incident, reported in October 2025, police responded to a theft at an outlet mall where multiple suspects targeted a jewelry retail store, escaping with several high-value items.

Detectives believe these cases highlight an ongoing trend of high-value retail thefts targeting shopping malls.
