Police search for suspect in daring smash-and-grab at Ingram Park Mall jewelry kiosk

Authorities in San Antonio are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who carried out a daring smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry kiosk located inside the Ingram Park Mall. The incident, which unfolded during regular mall operating hours, sent shoppers and employees scrambling for safety.

Witnesses reported that the suspect approached the kiosk, suddenly pulled out a blunt object, and shattered the glass display cases. Within seconds, the individual snatched several pieces of high-value jewelry and fled the scene on foot through one of the mall's main exits before security guards could intervene. The sudden crash of breaking glass sparked brief panic among nearby patrons who feared a more violent incident was taking place.

San Antonio Police arrived shortly after the incident and have secured surveillance footage from both mall security and neighboring retail stores. The suspect is described as a male wearing dark clothing and a face covering. Investigators are reviewing the footage to trace the suspect's escape route and identify any potential getaway vehicle.
