Police Search for Suspect in Des Moines Bank Robbery

DES MOINES, Iowa — The search continues for a suspect who carried out a bank robbery in Des Moines, according to local law enforcement reports. The incident took place during the afternoon hours of July 24, 2025, sending shockwaves through the neighborhood and initiating a multi-agency response.

According to police, the suspect entered the bank branch, approached the teller counter, and demanded cash. After obtaining an undisclosed sum of money, the individual fled the premises on foot before police could establish a perimeter around the building.
