According to a community alert issued by Area Three detectives, the incident occurred early on Monday, October 13, 2025. Police state that an unidentified man broke into three separate residences in Rogers Park over a short period. During one of the break-ins, the intruder confronted a female resident inside her home and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim fought back, causing the suspect to flee the scene before police arrived.
