Police Seek Public Help Identifying SUV Linked to Forsyth Court Burglary

BAKERSFIELD, California — Investigators with the Bakersfield Police Department are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a sports utility vehicle (SUV) connected to a residential burglary on Forsyth Court.

The burglary took place on or around May 1, 2026. During their preliminary investigation, detectives identified a vehicle of interest—specifically a modern SUV—that was observed in the vicinity of the crime scene at the time of the incident. Authorities believe the occupants of this vehicle may have critical information or direct involvement in the break-in.
