Police Seek Suspect in Armed Robbery at Silver Spring Aldi Store

SILVER SPRING, MD — Local authorities are searching for an unidentified suspect following an armed robbery at the Aldi grocery store located in Silver Spring.

According to police reports, the suspect entered the retail store, approached the cashier, displayed a weapon, and demanded money. Fearing for their safety, the employee complied with the demands. The suspect then obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.
