Police Seek Victims of Multi-Jurisdictional 7-Eleven Armed Robbery Crew Following String of Heists

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is calling on the public and local business owners to help identify further victims of an armed robbery crew that recently targeted multiple 7-Eleven convenience stores across Southern California. The crime spree, which occurred over a compact 24-hour period, hit at least five distinct locations in Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Baldwin Park, demonstrating a highly active and aggressive modus operandi.

Surveillance videos obtained from the targeted stores show masked suspects entering the establishments, displaying firearms, and demanding cash and merchandise from retail clerks. In one notable incident, a masked suspect was recorded boasting that security cameras could not capture his face. Despite these claims, law enforcement agencies mobilized rapidly to track the crew down. The situation escalated dramatically during a confrontation in the Harbor Gateway area, where police officers engaged and fatally shot an armed robbery suspect connected to the heists.

Detectives believe this crew may be linked to additional robberies and flash-mob style heists in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. Law enforcement is urging anyone with information, or businesses that may have been targeted by the same individuals, to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
