Port St. Lucie Man Arrested After Allegedly Breaking Into Home to Photograph Woman in Shower

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL — Port St. Lucie police have arrested a man accused of a disturbing home invasion and invasion of privacy. The suspect allegedly broke into a local residence and took an unauthorized photograph of a woman while she was showering, according to reports from WPBF.

The incident, which occurred in a residential neighborhood of Port St. Lucie, began when the suspect reportedly forced entry into the home. Once inside, he made his way to the bathroom where the victim was showering. The victim noticed the suspect attempting to photograph her with a mobile device and immediately raised the alarm, causing the intruder to flee the property.

Responding officers quickly launched an investigation, utilizing physical evidence and witness descriptions to locate the suspect. He was subsequently apprehended and taken into custody. The suspect faces charges of burglary of an occupied dwelling and video voyeurism.
