Portadown Service Station ATM Target of Audacious Break-In and Theft

Detectives in County Armagh are appealing for information following a daring theft from an automated teller machine (ATM) at a service station in the Portadown area. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of May 27, 2025, involved two male suspects who managed to breach the cash machine and extract a sum of money.

According to police reports, the two individuals targeted the ATM located at a local service station. The suspects managed to break into the machine and remove a quantity of cash. Police received reports of suspicious activity and responded promptly, but the suspects had already fled the scene just minutes before the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) arrived.

A police spokesperson stated, "This was a highly organized attempt, and we are working to establish the identities of those involved. We are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of the service station near Portadown during the early hours of May 27 and noticed any suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals, to come forward." Investigations are ongoing as police review security footage and conduct forensic enquiries.
