‘Pretty Unusual’ Midday Robbery Spree Ends at Third Gwinnett Business

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County authorities have arrested a suspect following a rapid-fire midday robbery spree that targeted three separate local businesses in quick succession.

The incident began during the lunch hour when the suspect entered the first business location and demanded cash. Before police could respond to the initial call, the individual had already moved on to a second business nearby, committing another robbery. The spree finally concluded at a third commercial establishment, where local employees and prompt police response thwarted the suspect's escape.

An Unusual Midday Threat

Law enforcement officials described the series of events as "pretty unusual" given the timing, speed, and public nature of the robberies. Typically, commercial robberies occur late at night or early in the morning when foot traffic is minimal. The suspect's decision to target multiple businesses during peak daytime hours created significant alarm but also allowed witnesses to provide rapid, detailed descriptions to responding officers.

No injuries were reported during the spree. Gwinnett County police are working to recover the stolen funds and are preparing multiple counts of armed robbery and commercial burglary charges against the suspect.
